January 8th

Today started out early, around 6am with a frenzy over the road conditions as the temperature was below freezing and there was moisture in the air. Fortunately enough, Trey and I made a safe journey to the airport just a few minuets than expected! I got checked with at the gate and hopped on the 777. I got to sit in the front of Coach with extra leg room, which was very nice for a 14 hour flight. We arrived at the Narita International Airport about 10 minuets before schedule and worked our way through the various checkpoints. I had a few conversations with the Passport lady, Customs man, and a teller at a newsstand. Just small talk such as I am international student, wheres the bathroom (very interesting toilets by the way...), and how is your day going... We made it to the American Annex and had a nice greeting party with our E-Pals and some really good Sushi!! So far off to a great start! It is 9:00 pm here so I have officially been operating on 24 hrs non stop. Very tired and going to get some sleep for tomorrow!

Miss everyone back home and cant wait to see ya'll soon!

  1. Thanks for posting pictures. That's great. I see it's almost 11:00 so I bet you are cutting some Zzzz. Were you able to sleep on the plane? On a cush 777, probably easy to sleep.

Have fun and keep posting pics. Don't really get the toilet. Could YouTube the toilet but I'd probably get more than I bargained for.
